Report an Incorrect Snow Day Prediction

Weather conditions and school closure decisions can vary between cities, school boards, and even nearby communities. If a prediction did not match the final outcome in your area, please let us know.

When reporting a prediction, include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Your city and province
  • Date of the prediction
  • Approximate probability shown
  • Whether schools closed or remained open
  • Your school board, if known
  • Any details that appeared incorrect or confusing

You do not need to send unnecessary personal information. Location and prediction details are usually enough for us to review the issue.

If you would like to understand the factors behind the calculations first, read our snow day prediction methodology.

Suggest a Canadian City or School Board

Cannot find your location in the predictor? Send us the name of your city, province, and school board.

We review requests for additional locations and school boards as we expand Canadian coverage. These suggestions also help us understand where more local prediction information may be useful.

Important Note About Snow Day Predictions

SnowPredictor.ca provides probability-based estimates to help with planning. A prediction is not an official school closure announcement and cannot guarantee whether a school or school board will close.

For confirmed school closures, bus cancellations, delayed openings, and safety instructions, always check your school board, transportation provider, or appropriate local authority.
