Terms and Conditions
Welcome to SnowPredictor.ca. By accessing or using our snow day prediction tools, information, and related resources, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the service.
Purpose of SnowPredictor
SnowPredictor.ca provides estimated snow day probabilities and winter-weather information to help students, parents, educators, and other users prepare for possible school closures or transportation disruptions.
Our predictions are provided for general information and planning purposes only. They are not official school closure announcements, emergency warnings, or instructions from a school board, transportation authority, government agency, or other public authority.
If you want to understand how prediction estimates are produced, you can learn more about how SnowPredictor.ca works.
Snow Day Predictions and Accuracy
Snow day predictions are estimates based on available weather information and the factors considered by our prediction system. Weather conditions can change quickly, while closure decisions may also depend on local road conditions, transportation safety, school board policies, storm timing, and other factors outside our control.
For this reason, SnowPredictor.ca cannot guarantee that a predicted snow day will occur or that schools will remain open when the probability is low.
Before making important decisions about school attendance, travel, childcare, or transportation, always confirm the latest information with your school board, transportation provider, local authority, or official weather service. Our prediction disclaimer provides additional information about these limitations.
