Terms Of Use
Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using snowpredictor.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Nature of Our Service — Probability Estimates Only
snowpredictor.ca provides probability estimates — not guarantees or official announcements. Our snow day predictions are statistical assessments based on weather forecast data and historical school board closure patterns. They are not official communications from any school board, government, or educational authority.
A prediction of 90% does not guarantee school will be cancelled. A prediction of 10% does not guarantee school will be open. Always verify school closure decisions through your official school board’s website, automated notification system, or local radio stations before making plans based on our predictions.
No Liability
snowpredictor.ca and its operators accept no liability for:
- Decisions made based on our probability scores
- Costs, losses, or inconveniences arising from incorrect predictions
- Actions taken in reliance on snowpredictor.ca predictions
- Inaccuracies in weather data provided by third-party sources
Our service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Acceptable Use
You may use snowpredictor.ca for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from snowpredictor.ca without written permission

- Represent our probability scores as official school board communications
